Spine ministry often brings spiritual freedom and physical help, and I have some great testimonies from doing spine ministry. Although I have found that it often takes a significant amount of work to produce physical healing, I believe that is mainly because a lot of emotional baggage, especially generational issues, tends to land in the spine.

 

The life of God is designed to flow from the top down with Jesus as our head, through our spine and to our feet, so that the life of God can sanctify the land we walk on. The importance of where our feet walk is indicated in Deut 11:24, “Every place where the sole of your foot treads will be yours.” New Age and Egyptian heresies teach that we should be connected to the earth and that the flow should come from the ground up instead of from God down. 

 

Blockages in the spine can block the flow of life and hinder physical and spiritual healing. Some key areas of issues in the spine are where the different sections of the spine meet, such as where the cervical and thoracic sections meet at C7/T1. This is at the bottom of the neck where the vertebrae sort of sticks out and is often the most spiritually defiled area. The places where the thoracic and lumbar, and the lumbar and sacral sections of the spine meet are also highly defiled areas. 

 

The spine has also been mapped out according to the portions of the spirit and often is loaded with critters! Here are a couple examples from people that I’ve worked with:

 

Cindy had a place in her neck that was bent to the left and then a place in the middle of her back that was bent back toward the right, and another spot in her lumbar area which bent back to the left again. She was in considerable pain and her head bent slightly to one side. She spent a lot of time and money on chiropractors who helped a little but were never able to make any significant progress. After spending some time doing “Spine Deliverance” and other healing work, she started feeling better and had x-rays done and was pleasantly surprised to discover that her spine was straight and no longer bent from side to side.

 

Dorothy had regular biweekly visits to her chiropractor for a constant issue at T2/T3 which corresponds to the Servant and Teacher portions of the spirit. The main stronghold of the Teacher portion of the spirit is the religious spirit which was very strong in her generational lines. There was a significant amount of generational traumas and issues lodged at T3 and some of them were related to the religious stronghold often associated with the teacher portion of the spirit. As we worked in that area of her spine, she had less and less need to go to the chiropractor.
